Ryzom News - Roadmap, Q&A and Test Server News

The Saga of Ryzom has shut down their Advanced Test Server to perform a technical system upgrade. In order to make sure that there are no issues, the server will be closed for a few days.

Why can't we delog and come back to the character selection screen? [Submitted by jeoff (FR)] We added this option once, during the beta. However, it had a buggy side effect which caused some of the textures and character models to not be reloaded correctly. I'll spare you the details, but the amount of time required to make it work correctly was, at the time, too important; so the feature was deactivated and its priority lowered. If we can manage to get some spare time one day - which, considering the current busy schedules, should not happen soon - we'll reintroduce a fixed version of this feature. Is neutrality (toward both the Kami and Karavan factions) an option? [FAQ] Yes. However, in your roleplay, you should probably consider the fact that the Kami and the Karavan are too powerful and homins are too dependant of these two factions to oppose them openly. Being neutral is ok, provoking both the Karavan and the Kamis is suicide. :-) However, there is always the option of having an hidden agenda... |
Finally, yesterday, Ryzom came out with a handy new feature called the "Ryzom Roadmap". This "roadmap" acts like a guide through the game. Here is what the website had to say about it:
