Ryzom Ring, the expansion for The Saga of Ryzom that promises to put the power int he hands of the players, has launched. This unique expansion gives players the ability to create their own content for the MMO.

Nevrax, announced today the released of the Ryzom Ring, its first ground breaking expansion for the massively-multiplayer online science fantasy role playing game (MMORPG) Ryzom. This truely is a memorable step in the history of the MMO industry, the Ring is such a powerful tool.  Hopefully it can help improve the market for the better.

Even better is the fact that they are announcing a new server, meaning Ryzom is well and truely back on the path to success.

That's incredible news for the MMO industry. I had the pleasure of playing a trial of Ryzom a while back and really enjoyed it. The only thing lacking was diversity amongst the species in specific zones and quest types. With the Ring all of that could change. I may even pick this game back up and try it out a month once it gets going.

Ryzom is one of the most unique MMO's ever that no one has tried.
