Downloading this game after reading the recent article.  How is the population and is there one server more populated than the rest?  Thanks.

I can only speak for Arispotle which is the English speaking server and I can only speak for the mainland as I have not been on the starter island (Silan) in quite some time but I would describe it as low to medium pop depending on time of day.  Also depends on what part of the mainland you choose.  I'm over in Witherings which seems to me to be the lower pop area of the four main areas.

There is also Aniro (French) and Leanon (German) servers with the same starter area and mainlands.

Join up!  It's free to play up to level 125 (in each skill, and there are plenty) so can't hurt.  More the merrier!  Hope to see ya on Atys!

I can probably answer for the starter area: Silan.

Quantity-wise it's not all that active, probably around 25 people or so there on average.

Quality-wise it's very active. There's a few long-time players who keep alts in the zone and if you ask in region chat you'll usually get advice or help with whatever you need and there's a decent number of newish players who are sticking to the starter area a while longer to level all their skills who'll usually give you a hand as well if you need it.

This is all for the English server as well.

I've thus far found that if you're not afraid to ask in region chat if you need help (yesterday one guy asked for help and 2 vets immediatly answered when suddenly a further 7 new players joined in because they also needed help with the same mission but hadn't asked) you'll find plenty of other players, on the starter isle at least. But if you stay quiet and avoid others it'll probably get quite lonely.
