I played the game a couple years ago back when they were doing a free to play for a couple months type thing permotion. Every since then it has been one of my favorite games I've ever played. Unfortunatly I have never had the extra money to pay for a subscription due to being disabled and unworking etc. Now that it is free to play so to speak well till 125 I am going to be coming back.

I will most likely need to make a new character etc so any suggestions on what to do?

Thanks,

Dustin

I'm still confused, is it F2P? Or is it absolutely free and you can pay, here and there, if you want? I tried to get into Ryzom but it was not my style, really. Graphics don't matter much to me in games (I still think EQ1 has great graphics, here and there) but the style of Ryzom put me off. I didn't like how the toons looked nd I always believe that you have to have a toon that you are comfortable with, except Eve (except the avatar).

From what I have read, the trial now extends to lvl 125, after that you will need to pay.

There are now 2 modes of play:

Free play, which has a level cap of 125 per skill.

Paid subscription, which has a level cap of 250 per skill.

You can turn a free account into a paid account if you reach the limit and want to continue gaining levels after that. If not, you can continue to play but won't get experience (and thus strength, better gear, etc.).

A paid account can NOT be reverted to a free account.

There are some other limits to free accounts, mostly having to do with storage options.
