I just realized this game has PvP, this is great! But how is it? Are there PvP goals like capturing territory or locations? What is the nature of Guild vs Guild warfare? Are the full PvP root realms a gank fest or challenging and fun PvP? Is it full-loot? What are the consequences of a PvP kill?

Also anything else you would like to tell me would be great!

also, how long does it take to get competitive in PvP?

GvG out post battles (capture and defense). FFA pvp zones, faction pvp flagging, arena areas. The game has a XP dept death penalty (that needs to be worked off)  gear does have durability so sooner or later gear breaks and you need to replace it.

You can pvp early on as a healer or train up a main combat skill to 200+ and fight on equal footing.

The game has ffa zones but isnt really a gank fest. I havent seen a harvester in Ryzom get ganked in like months lol.
