Hello everyone. A few months ago I was playing Ryzom for the first time. I loved everything about the game, and was enjoying my time on the begginer island. But once I read about the limitless progression, ie; anyone can do anything, it turned me away from the game. After trying EQ2, a return trip to XI, and many others that didn't last past my free trial, I decided to look pass that fact and give Ryzom another chance. I just started a new character (A Matis on the Arispotle server, name is Allysin) and was wondering if anyone would accept a new player into there guild?

There are a dozen or more fantastic guild homes in Ryzom.  My suggestion is to run through the starter island, decide what faction you want to align yourself (Kami, Karavan, or even Neutral) and then give a shout in Universe chat.  I can assure you you'll get plenty of response.

Thanks for the info. I just logged for the day, all my skills are 15+. Can trials get past the 20 cap?

Oh yeah, no worries about skill level caps on the trial! :)

In fact, I know of no restrictions for trial players...other than the obvious time limit for free play.

In the past people on trial accounts had their lvls capped at 20 and were not able to get off Silan, but did not have any time limit

Now people only have a 21 day time limit, you have no restrictions on anything else.

I'll be in the same boat very soon.  The client downloaded a few hours ago, I don't think I've ever had so much trouble deciding on a race.

The only thing I'm sure on is I won't be fyros (sp).
