The guys over at Winch Gate have finally updated the Ryzom website. It's definitely better looking than the old one, but still needs some tweaking imo. Some parts of it look rushed, like the footer alignment and main river. Because a lot of the text is pushed up against its containing div, it looks too crowded. Overall though it's a much welcomed update which should make a much better first impression on newcomers to the game. What do you think? Current: Ryzom, DFO |

I love it. only issue is the feedback tab is buried under the vimeo part. It becomes visible when you scroll down. Lanuit & Moonlightmist on Ryzom (Arispotle) and EQ2 (Lucan D'Lere) |

I just had a chat with a Newbe, who said it looks great to him :) He had just found out about Ryzom tonight and was taking his first steps on Silan.

Everyone seems to think the new site is an improvment but to me the old site was far better than this one. The old one was messed up by the new owner by some poor video placement but I think the new site looks amatuer and has lost the Ryzom sparkle. ------------------------------------------------ |

The website turned a couple of my buddies away at first because they thought Ryzom was a French game. They need to change the Site title it's going to confuse people. I had to go out of my way to explain to them what Ryzom was about. Why would I play a pathetic themepark MMO when I could enjoy a masterpiece like Mass Effect, Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Dragon Age? |

Yep, I'm not sure why they thought it was necessary to say it was the best French MMORPG. That's already been commented on more than once on the Ryzom forums. Hopefully they have the time and money to change things. Current: Ryzom, DFO |

Maybe they should rephrase it into: "The ONLY French MMORPG." I mean, is there any other French MMORPG out there? I have no idea.

There is at least 2 others : Dofus and Wakfu. But as you say it's not very wise to promote the "french" conception of Ryzom (and I'm french)... I hope they will change this (and some few others things). |
