Ok... Im in the beta.  I havent gotten into it far at all.  As a matter of fact, I only played for about 15 minutes.  The first thing I noticed is that the movement is terrible.  You hit the run button, and at most your walking a little faster?  Anyone know if they are planning on changing that?  Also, the character creation is lacking alot.  But I guess I have to play more!

Lol, I lost a slvl 27 character because the southern part of the mainland was either incomplete or had a major graphics glitch to Radeon users.

I lost another Harvester in the water when I tried to sit and stuck.

I know betas are suppose to be rough, but this looks like a rough alpha.

To All Looking to Get In Beta:

Make sure not to have an ATI card, or else the engine will cause you so many graphic problems.

I havnt noticed any graphic bugs, that might just be because the game crashes about 30 seconds in every time for me >_>

The movement is realy bad. You see yourself from behind as if you where walking but from the side you get a better feeling that it is running. The speed between running and walking is not much. Many times when I walked like 10-20 sec I get warped forward which looks like lag.

The movement speeds definitely need adjusting. The problem is that they just can't increase the player movement without thinking about adjusting all the mob movement. If you can outrun all the mobs and there is no threat of dieing, that wouldn't be acceptable, so I would guess that it will take a little bit before the run speed is adjusted to a more tolerable pace for just getting around from place to place.

And yeah the lag lately has been pretty bad...but I would have to assume that is becuase more people are trying the game. They added another North American server just yesterday so that must mean they are trying but that added server didn't help to much with the lag, so I assume that their Internet connection is now the bottle neck since a second server should have helped with the lag and the fact that the new server was laggy even when there didn't seem to be a ton of people on it.
