Hey, I just downloaded the Fileplanet open beta version of Ryzom, and I'm getting some weird problems. Oddly enough, it has nothing to do at all with the account key (I haven't even gotten there yet, though, so I'm sure that I'll come to it eventually ). When I first unzip and install the game client, it automatically attempts to patch, and every time I've run it, it gets an error after about 20-30 seconds and quits out. EVERY time I've opened this it has happened, and I can't get any further without it going through the patch phase. I disabled my firewall, restarted my computer, deleted my cookies (as if that would do anything), everything I could think of, even reinstalled the game, but it's still not working.

Does anyone else have this problem or am I just screwed? It wouldn't be the first time...
