I was a bit bored today so decided to dig a little into the sole shareholder listed for Spiderweb International. Doesn't look entirely good. It looks like he has associations with rather dodgy individuals (see here). UK's Government House also has Mr Hogan listed as a comany director (for the company mentioned in the previously cited article), though their record for him seems defunct (see here). His name comes up as the tax preparer for the now defunct Dounton Marketing (see here). I can't find any other info on this company. He is also currently a company director for GeoProMining (see here). There seem to have been some reporting irregularities with Sterlite Gold prior to the purchase, though they wouldn't seem to have involved Hogan. There's a contact number listed here for GeoProMining (see here). It doesn't seem to be a normal international prefix, but I did manage to find it as a prefix for Moscow phone numbers (see here), which would seem to match the name attached to it. Also comes full circle back to the Russian spy thing in the first article. It paints an unusual picture of someone associated with the purchase of an ailing mmo. |
