The eccentric and spirited Trykers made their home in the lake lands. Trykers are great travelers and explorers, as well experts in wind technology. Being wily hedonists and smaller in stature, these good-hearted homins nurture a dream of a world without tyranny or intolerance, with neither masters nor slaves. Believing all homins are equals and should live and let live, Trykers excel in nurturing the qualities of the individual, and not just the group as a whole.

It is written that the mysterious Zoraïs were led into the dense jungles in response to a spiritual calling, away from the barbarity of the other civilizations. In their search for spiritual enlightenment, the Zoraïs have grown close to the mysterious Kamis; even going so far as to have the Kamis mask of friendship genetically sown onto their faces to show that they are of stronger spiritual substance than other homin races.

Determined, loyal and fierce, the Fyros built their society on a strict code of honor while ranking themselves among the greatest Atysian warriors. The Fyros claim to be warriors of knowledge who vow never to retreat in their quest for the truth behind the fabled Dragon of Atys. Forming their communities in the deep and deadly deserts, they claim to be the only homins brave enough to rebuild their towns in the scorching desert where the Dragon is most likely to resurface.

Certainly, there are many questions yet to be answered. What is the origin of hominkind? Doubt is growing in homin hearts. Who really are the Karavan? What is behind the bond between the Kamis and Atys? What is Atys? The destiny of Atys is about to change. Homins will have now the possibility to impact Atys’ future.

In the next Episode (Episode II) homins will have influence on the world, where their actions will have a lasting effect on Atys, which even future homins will notice. It will involve all of hominkind, whether warrior, caster, harvester or crafter, all homins will have a role to play in this episode in Atys’ future. The two opposing factions (Kamis, Karavan) will be involved, and even hominists (Tryton) will be able to influence the future.

The history of Atys is still being written, ever changing and evolving. Will you help shape the future of your fellow homins? Or will you be left behind?
