Game: APB: Reloaded
Looks pretty cool, always been aware of this game but not really payed attention to it, but maybe ill have to go read up on it abit ^^ looks interesting, might buy it.
I've heard its pretty boring after the first couple of hours of playing, no real depth and ultimately a PvP feast. Sadly the trailer did little to suggest that it is much more than a FPS that you have to pay to play. I suspect roving gank squads will likely be a problem and unless you are in one there is little to do.
So Sadly I think I'll be giving it a miss but it will be good to see what people think when it comes out.
Please at least try reading up on the game mechanics before suggesting roaming gank squads. "Roaming gank squads" are not possible in the normal rule-set server. So, if you run into this problem, it's your own fault for picking the FFA server.
Just wanted to second Etra...no roaming gank squads, you can only fight the players in your missions. Not a free for all unless you choose that type of server.
Its not really ment to fire you up or show gameplay. It pretty much gives you an introduction to the lore for the game. It includes what little background information you need to understand the game once you start playing. Basically it says ''hey, you are an enforcer or you are a criminal and you are at war for this city's streets''.
My only problem with the game is the monthly payment when there are so many shooters that include unlimited online play and support larger #'s of players.
not bad

Wed May 26 2010 2:05PM ReportI love beta testers or people giving "what they have heard" as the final word on if the game fails or not....haha
We have started to act like beta is the game we bought.

Wed May 26 2010 6:57PM ReportIf you want a fairly competitive mmo and aren't too shabby at the FPS aspects of it, at least try it when it comes out. That's all I'll say.
