That aside, devs have also noted that the latest update will feature more Vivox servers as well as tweaks applied to the threat levels and matchmaking systems.
Reported on May 25, 2011GamersFirst has announced that the delayed open beta for APB-Reloaded is scheduled to begin at 6:00 a.m. PST today, Monday, May 23rd. The open beta was delayed for about a week due to disconnect issues encountered early last week. In a separate blog, devs also revealed that visual adjustment to threat levels is also slated to arrive today.
Reported on May 23, 2011It would seem that a player disconnection issue is holding up GamersFirst's release of the APB: Reloaded Open Beta. The disconnection issue "manifests itself in disconnecting some groups of players after one to two hours of gameplay, which clearly is not acceptable in Open Beta". A patch was released for the Closed Beta that may resolve the issue.
Reported on May 19, 2011GamersFirst has announced that the original All Points Bulletin creator, David Jones, has been named as one of Reloaded Productions' team members. Jones will serve in an advisory role and will share his vast game design experience during critical design stages of the ongoing development of APB Reloaded. Jones' credentials include working on titles such as Lemmings, Grand Theft Auto and Crackdown.

The goal of the server move is to improve latency for players. The APB Reloaded open beta is scheduled to begin on May 18th.
