Yea signed up for beta a while ago.  I am very interested in seeing how the game pulls together, as it seems to draw on a wide variety of concepts not standard to the MMO industry.

I don't even consider this game a MMO any more than CrimeCraft was, but it DOES look like a FUN game.

Really? Did I miss the sarcasm?

Sure EA makes some good games, but heck when you put out 783 titles some have to be good.

I kinda understand platform fanboy's but publisher fanboys... that's a new one on me.

Back in the day, MicroPROSE used to be my favorite game designer/publisher (Sid Meier is a god). Some people swore that Interplay was awesome... Bethesda... Black Isle... Bioware... Infogrames... Sierra Online... Dynamix... id...

Used to be a lot of places that put out good game after good game... then the internet came and effectively ruined it all by letting people get away with "release now, patch later".

And now with consoles connected to the net, even they are getting the "Release now patch later" mind set.

Ah well, it is really our faults for continuing to give them our money. I have for the most part learned better and now wait for a month or two before buying most games. (Now if I could make myself do that with MMOs)

As much as I'm looking forward to this game I tend to agree.  Although they allow 100 players in the city zone (250 in social) which is more than some instanced MMOs.
