...but... where are all the hackers people are talking about? all i see is people aiming at me and actually trying to kill me.... seriously, after a three weeks of playing this i've encountered two clear hackers. it is a little unbalanced, but it's no big deal in my opinion. i win probably 50-70% of my matches which is fair to me. did any of you try to get better weapons and progress, or did you just hope the beginners stuff would carry you? and i've killed plenty of people using cash shop weapons with my unupgraded, non-cashshop weapon.

I haven't played it since before the Reload. Still a fun game?
Also, do the ingame rewards from before the Reload still apply after?

Originally posted by Loktofeit not sure about the rewards, but i do know that starting out you will lose a lot because the matchmaking sucks and you'll be paired with people who have played a lot longer than you have. after you get past that wall of fire it's pretty fair and fun in my opinion with the rare hacker messing things up. |

I'm enjoying it too. Yep there are cheaters, but I find they are a fairly small percentage of the population. I really, really like the customization aspect. I can enjoy customizing my vehicles and character for hours end.

i do not belive this game will run on a 300 dollar computer....Unless its a good computer and you just are getting a Huge deal on it
i just got a 1000 dollar computer and i was Ultra laggy when i had 4 gigs of ram....Upgraded to 8 gigs of newer ram and it works amazing now
Upgrading from 4 gigs to 8 gigs was a MAJOR upgrade
people told me 4 gigs to 8 gigs isnt noticeable....but for me it was a major upgrade |

I played for three weeks, in that time I did come accross a few people that i believed were using some kind of script. Some are blatantly obvious, however I imagine the problem is not as rampant as people make it to be.
Only reason I stopped playing is because I am just awful at the game. I rarely won and got frustrated with the matchmaking. I guess they can only match me with other terrible players so much. |

Originally posted by Worstluck They need a group of players that are intent on helping new players learn some skills. Eve had that "Eve University (or something to that effect) Organization" that really helped alot of people overcome the steep learning curve. APB doesn't have that steep of a learning curve by any means, but it's hard to find your own groove when you keep getting matched with experienced players. Here is a couple things that I've found important; You need the right weapon for the mission and your playstyle. If you like to snipe, then fine, but when you are in close quarters to reach an objective you either need a lot of luck or a better weapon choice. So have more then one main weapon and change them out as you need.
If you are teamed with people, try to work as a team. Wait to rush an objective until your team is there (or at least the majority) and move as a group. You can take a flanking role, which is great, but if everybody is flanking then really nobody is.
It's much easier to start off with a grenade before the opponent knows you are there, and finish them off with your gun, then it is to do it the other way around.
You're opponents see's where you are hiding when they die, so move around a be prepared for them to move in on where you were.
