On one of the podcasts, it was mentioned that "The price and payment model have not been finalized yet but we can say it won't be the traditional monthly subscription model."

Thoughts on this? Does that turn anyone away from the game?

Speculation?

I would say it will be $49.99 us to purchase then it may have a cash shop or micro subscription fee. Probably around $9.99. Take a look at Crime Craft's payment modal. It may be similar.

Revenge is best served cold, bullets however are best served hot.

Well, they did say it's like not like the norm, so who knows, maybe they'll make the losing side each month cough up some dough hehe. I am kidding, of course.

Ganking? Me!? That's absurd!! I leave THAT to the lawyers!

This is just a multiplayer game with bigger player support on servers, i don't think they should charge any fees after the initial box price. But then again greed spins the world around, so who knows.

My guess is that players will be paying for cosmetic extras here and there. From what I've heard the game seems more like a shooter than an MMO, and P2P shooters have had a pretty sore track record. Players are not used to paying for shooter games, and I don't think they will be likely to change their mind any time soon, no matter how much customization you give them. Maybe they are going to charge by the hour or something, like at an internet cafe.
