Ship Interiors to Expand?
Let's face it the existing implementation of starship interiors is pretty underwhelming. Currently, players in Star Trek Online can basically wander around a small bridge area that essentially just serves as a social space you can invite your friends into, but Cryptic Studios isn't interested in maintaining the status quo in this regard.

Now Live! Federation Klingon/Ferengi Available in C-Store!
Following a brief head start weekend, Star Trek Online has officially gone live today! While many of you have been merrily playing for the last few days, there are still some launch day surprises to be had. For example, did you know that two new races are available to players at the C-Store? Federation Klingon and Federation Ferengi can both be had for 240 and 80 Cryptic Points respectively.

Beta Receives Massive Update; Level Cap Removed
The Star Trek Online Open Beta was patched with a massive update recently, addressing many of the issues highlighted in a recent State of the Game Address. One of the most notable changes to the beta is of course the removal of the level cap, allowing for players to explore the game beyond the previously capped rank of Lt. Commander.
