Just curious

So far just the concept art from Aug 12th here.

Remember a few things though:

• the profession tree has been rethought and reworked. So the uniform art you see here is not exactly representative anymore
• The animation was more to show how it could work. Not necessarily represenitng how complex it will be.
• Plus these images are all almost three months old. They were concept art when they were new, by now who knows how much may have changed. Still fun to look at it when you need the fix though

OK, the engine control panel looks.... interesting.

Well, i don't think i wanna be the guy who has to control that!

I think it looks great, but are those following the "canon" or creating new stuff for the game? I'm indifferent either way, but would be interested in knowing.

I do like the early sketches for the character's though- very nice.

A little of both actually.
They did want to update the LCARS design,
it's been the same since TNG started. So these are new for the game.

BUT!!!

Remember that the one designing the new LCARS is the same man who designed the LCARS in the first place: Mike Okuda.

So if anyone has the right to say what a new canon LCARS would look like, it's him.
A lot of us would like to see STO take the spot of creating the canon for the next chapter of the ST saga.

i can't wait for this game....looking forward to it..
