OK.. Romulus was toasted.. then Vulcan was toasted..  but hey.. wait.. Spock lived..  Simple..  Go back in time as they did in Voyage Home, but instead of saving the whales.. LOL   they save Vulcan and Romulus by undoing all the damage.. right?  lol

As long as it makes trekkies go into a nerdrage-induced coma, I'm all for it! =D

If you stand VERY still, and close your eyes, after a minute you can actually FEEL the universe revolving around PvP.

The real question is which film will generate the greatest nerd-vana, the release of the ST sequel or the 4th Spiderman film (in 3D) that is due out 4 days later. Last I read though, which is pure speculation, is that the new film will involve the Borg.

I too have heard rumblings about the Borg.

It's not surprising, nuTrek sprang out of a marketing meeting afterall. The suits looked at the takings for the Star Trek films overall, saw that the highest grossing films featured the TOS crew, so got J.J to churn out his "vision" of Star Trek. Now that nuTrek has made money, the same suits will be plotting away on how to get even more cash. And since Star Trek First Contact was by far the most successful of the TNG films, the Borg will no doubt have been considered.

Your friendly neighbourhood Spider-pope.

Yeah as long as they don't stick to the whole "The reboot film is scheduled to be released in summer 2012 and will focus on Peter Parker developing his abilities in high school" thing sounds too much like they may be going for the kiddies with this one.  In regards to Trek I think I liked that movie about as much as any other one but I don't really care if they use the borg or not just not that interesting to me.

Okay, I forgot to specify "ST film".   I agree, a crossover would be worth seeing (just not Peter vs the Borg).  :P

Well since the new Spiderman is rumored to be about Venom and Carnage, how about a Trek/Carnage crossover.

Cletus Kasady would make one hell of a "Redshirt" crew member.

Just curious about the ST sequel.. I do see they plan on release in summer of 2012, but the plot is unknown..  I find it weird tho, Old Spock is alive and has once traveled back in time to save Earth.. umm Why couldn't they repeat that to save Vulcan? or Romulas?  Just curious..
