The Last is now recruiting new folks to enjoy gaming with.  Currently we are moving into STO and are also playing a bit of LotRO and recently Aion.

We're looking for folks that are mature minded, 25 years old and up, who understand respect, honor, friendship, loyalty and of course, maturity.

We're all longstanding gamers, and MMO veterans. We understand that real life comes first, and it's our philosophy that fun is much more important than achievement. We're looking for folks that will become friends that we all can game with, without any of the pressures of more hardcore-style guilds.

We are currently not a large guild at all, and we're not interested in folks that want to be the big fish in a small pond. Essentially, those folks just don't fit in with our senses of humor and our general philosophy as a guild. We are always looking to build new relationships with folks that are looking to find in a guild what we are looking to find in members.

I'm telling you...the warm regards at the end just gives me a homey feel...that's who we are...we are home to those who actually want to have fun...not worry about hardcore, get to top level as fast as possible type of guilds.

Speaking of double...I had a Raktajino with a double shot of espresso last year and havn't fallen asleep since!

We're also goofy.  When  you have people like myself who cite Monty Python, Mel Brooks, George Carlin and Lewis Black as influences, you know you're in for at the very least some interesting conversation.

Indeed...if you keep up with the conversation first time around...your a better man than I!

The end-of-beta event was a lot of fun, although I only was able to experience the Borg invasion of Earth Spacedock.  Still, it'd be great to see that kind of event in game itself on a regular basis.  It reminded me of old-time (allllll the way back to the 90's, sheesh - old, yeah, right) gaming in AC1 where they had GM-run events.

Those events really promote universal teamwork as well...nice to see everyone working toward one goal!

Well, the fleet has been formed and we are trekking out into the great known hoping to find the great unkown, which may end up not being great at all, but you can't go around claiming you found the average unknown or the pretty good unkown, that just wouldn't be worth the effort to even tell the stories of your adventures.  What if you just took a wrong turn somewhere?  Then what have you got?   Wouldn't be much of an adventure would it...just a lost pup wandering around space without a leash.  I mean, let's face it, no need to go get yourself lost and thrown in the pound if you can help it...better to just do your business on your own backyard grass!

Seems the servers are undergoing maintenance.

It's been fun getting to see some new people, and I'm loving the game, even though it's hard on my video cards.  I've managed to get those heat numbers down enough though, even though I'd prefer to see them down even further.

Okay, so I was checking out the website for your guild, and I was curious as to why you don't want people registering with a gmail account.  I don't use anything other then gmail, and don't really plan on creating an email somewhere else just for this one thing.

It's not really that big of a deal, but I am curious why...

We don't have Gmail accounts due to an incredibly-large amount of spam we were getting on our site specifically from Gmail accounts.  We tried to keep up with banning IPs, etc. but after contacting them and their  "we're sorry but tough" stance we ended up having to just ban gmail accounts altogether.

I've seen one too many advertisments on drugs.  The gmail just had to go.

Things seem to be going along quite swimmingly and hope to see many of you all in game on the weekend.

Yeah, I also figured if anyone really wanted to be in our guild, having another free mail account wouldn't be a huge deal.

I think I have 12 e-mails accounts...  LOL

I need to do something about that.
