Agreed. I was quite suprised when I saw it, and it only makes sense that it's about as dead as a doornail.

I know there are many ST and MMO fans alike out there who hold a higher regard for PE's efforts. But regardless, PE is long gone now. There's no sense in dragging a dead horse.

It's time to focus on the future of STO, especially since the game is set to launch early next year.

Yeah, I have no idea why they are keeping the PE area here, its kind of like they are mocking PE for not pulling it off o something by leaving it here. They really should remove this area and let teh community focus on Cryptics progress, because tbh, the PE area is only usable for trolling now.

I think they're just being lazy in not getting around to changing it out.

This sub-forum is just a big, sad "grass is always greener" fantasy. 

 I think you're suppose to use the general area to talk about Cryptic's version, and use this one to talk about the old one. That's how I saw it anyway. 

There's no point in talking about PE's "development" of STO. All they did was produce a few arty screenshots, throw a hastily cobbled together webpage up on the internet, and generally squander the entirity of the money given to them for development on 'ale and whores'*. It would be like trying to discuss whether a lightsaber produces a better shave than a razor... there's no comparison because one only exists in fantasy.

* - may not have been spent on ale and whores, but sure as heck wasn't spent on developing STO.
