Anyone remember this game? It was Starfleet Command 3 (the SC series) which had you piloting the systems of your favorite race and starship to blast the others out of the cosmos. You could outfit your ship to your style based on a points system and had awesome fluid combat.

I remember grabbing my defiant and going full speed to big ass Romulan ships with full power to aft shields and at the last second full power to torpedos to blow the other player away. Now this was a fun game!!!

Was it just me or was this the most awesome Star Trek game they made?

2d models in 3d space? BRILLIANT! on another note  I guess i missed that game coming out.

Biggest thing I didn't like in SFC3 was the change to 4 shields from 6 which is what was in the PnP game.

I still play this game, some descent updates and mods out there for it, you should try them.

Grand Nagus used to have a link to a STO Mod that was pretty nice.  I can't remember what it was anymore, but it had many canon & non-canon ships which were very nicely done.
