Game is dead, so forums pretty much are too.

Game has been picked up by a new Dev. All the rumors and hints point to Cryptic, but nobody knows for sure.

Wrong.  A company has the license.   wether they are doing anything with it has yet to be seen.  With the flood of MMOs coming out and the world economy looking shakey I would say they are using the license for tp.  Yes you are correct though.  There is no confirmation that anything is going on with this other then it has been cancelled and the license transfered.  When GnH was cancelled it was gone quickly from these forums.  Since this has been left open I bet that mmorpg.com has insider info on STO that they cannot release.

 I get here by clicking on Forums and then on Star Trek Online. You don't have to just have it book marked. Deep down there is still a spark in me that says this game will get made and made right....eventually...no excuse me I read an article about Duke Nukum Forever in last months Xbox magazine. (not kidding)

If you all want to play star trek stuff, go play Starquest Online. It's nearly the same thing. Join up with Starfleet, follow orders from the captain, and maybe they will promote you.

Starquest Online, are you joking.. have you seen the graphics??  I really hope that's not a game you have to pay to play.  There is nothing that could compaire to a true star trek online game, sorry.. that game's not even close.  As for me, theres Age of Conan till Stargate Worlds comes out.. then hopefully who ever is sitting on their collective asses instead of getting this game out will have gotten STO rolling again.
