Are you a Runes of Magic player feeling a bit of wing envy over the recently released Aion? Well, the folks at Runewalker Entertainment don't want you to feel left out, and so wings are now available for purchase in the in-game store as of this morning. There is a catch, however. The wings will only be available until tomorrow at 5PM PST. Unlike Aion, the wings are purely for vanity purposes and have no function. But hey, who doesn't like wings?
To purchase the wings visit the Special Offers section of the in game shop.
The original announcement can be found here.
Wings are great when it has to do with Red Bull or maxi-pads.
They are for show, but can have stats added via the mana stones, which can give you a slight advantage over someone else when in PVP, My character has stated his with nearly close too 100 stamina which = alot more HP to someone else of similar level without. THough I don't play on PVP servers. Personally they look ok, I just got mine to be able to add my HP to my rogue for end game instances :) So thanks for the extra armor piece Frogster :)
Word of warning if you buy your cash shop diamonds via auction house from others, they have marked up the price of diamonds atm due to everyone wanting the wings( most servers seem to be following suit on this). My advices spend the $20 to buy enough diamonds to buy via cash shop. And save your ingame gold for other things. Cause teh current price on Diamonds (Cash shop money) is over the top atm.
They now have Wings for 5000 rubys ...which if you look at the the EU server price (of 118 rubys) is just another in a long line of rip offs from this company. It's outrageous how they treat the US based customers, with overly inflated prices and junk justifications such as "they are a reward for our loyal cash shop customers". I have played this game for 4 months and I buy at least $60 US every month, how does that not make me a loyal cash shop customer? I believe the article writers for this site need to stop kissing up to these greedy individuals and write a hard hitting article about their treatment of patrons.
