Runes of magic US servers were introducded a new item in there cash shop Friday oct 9th wings that on there fellow euro site are offered at a mere 118 rubies which you have to trade tokens or spend diamonds to get but in the US they are 5000 rubies which adds up to $345 usd or 47 years of tokens they said they want to keep them unique and avalilbe to there loyal paying customers but they have had over 200 plus post about this on there offical forums i myself was an avid member of this game and was outraged that they did this the GM's said this was a unique item which they sold last week on the diamond shop for 400 diamonds $20 and those were a one day sale now they put up the same type of wings in the cs under rubys for way more then i would pay. And after the mass post of complants they still dont get the grip of the massive price differance. So to all the furture RoM players just to make it easy dont waste your time.

The GM's stated that those wings are part of a "loyalty" program for player that spend a lot of time and money.  I have to point out that the only way wings cost below $700 (worth of diamonds) is if you buy thousands of a single item that is pointless to buy in bulk (it teleports you to your house from anywhere).

There are a posts missing from the 25 pages of "open discussion" sticked by the GM's and many people have been warned to stop posting their opinions.

Overall, there are only 15 players even close to affording the wings so "just don't buy them" is the action taken.  The reason the community is ticked off, is that the same thing is being offered to the other (EU) market at 1/42 of the price.

It's mind-boggling how bent out of shape people are getting over a cosmetic item.  Personally I wish they never added them to the CS so we wouldn't have to listen to all the QQ.

RoM has no customer service at all. If you don't agree with them they ban or move your thread to spam.

If you hate rom so much frostsmith, why are you reading every single thread and commenting how bad that game is? I`m playing since the release, and i`m really comfortable with the game. I never had problems with the costumer support or had to pay "MILLIONS" to reach my goals ingame...  i paid fairly less than if i would have played wow for the same amount of time.

the servers are still full (i´m playin on a european), and a lot of ppl like rom. So if YOU dont like it, let us like our game and let us play without saying everywhere that its a crap-game. :(

I believe it's a free country? Hmm. And I wasn't bashing the game itself, just the people who run it. Why should this game get only good reviews when there are problems with it?

Games are reviewed base on their playability, content, and graphics. Not by their customer support. If that was the case then all MMOs and games in general would be below a 2 out of 10. I'm not too fond of their customer service on RoM, but then I'm not the one getting into trouble like completing surveys for "free" diamonds. Don't you know that anything that says free, there's a catch that comes with it? Nothing is "free" and definitely not on an MMO game.
