Quick question... How is the PvP on PvE servers?

Are there battlegrounds, arenas? Are they popular? I'm just wondering if there's any good controlled, non-open PvP that players participate in on PvE servers.

as far as i know

there is a world wide pvp

but you need to have a pvp switched on and so does your sparing partner

they have 3 arenas, 1v1, 3v3, and 6v6 (ctf)

 

no one ever wants to play on them because all you get is honor points for some cruddy gear, and no gear drops from opposing opponents

 

if gear did drop though, everyone on the server would be mage or rogue just like on the pvp server
