Dc universe needs more power sets.

And this should get us exited how?

what did kevin kao say before the game was released? "We don't need no darn tootin' might and mastery powerset! Our power sets are uh plentay!"  .......now he has no job. (we know the retirement was forced)....it's funny that SOE makes a game in the IP which superman resides and you can't make a character like superman. Before you say "Yes you can", superman didnt use gadgets or ice powers or whatnot. It's just lame. And I am a HUGE DC fan. I want to love this game but just can't.

they need more character creation options, there are just not enough compared to other superhero games. i do like the get kit and it changes your outfit though. but i cant play this anymore as its made for console, 6 power slots is not enough. and i want light powers to create a green lantern. big oportunity with the movie and all, and i think they are going to miss it.

I agree with Torqia... and I'm still a subscriber (only level 20 though) and a HUGE DC fan as well. I don't play so much because the game is a proverbial ghost town especially for non-30s. The server collectives can't get here soon enough IMHO.

You know, I am very, very saddened that DCU continues to put out more of the same 'nothing' it has since launch. I agree with everyone here, 6 powersets (a JOKE!), no might/mastery powerset ( an even bigger joke-and NO, brawler or lifting cars and thats it, isn't the super strength I envisioned here)

I didn't know Kao was forced into retirement because of his 'NO to Might/Mastery set, decision) I wish him the best but his/SONY's decision to not even bother with Might/Mastery at launch, BAD idea.

I too am a huge DC Universe fan, I love their superheroes/villains. I have been waiting for this game for a long time, but the fact we are forced to chose powers for our chars we do not want (ie primaries) nor the fact we cannot make superheroes based off our favorite DC chars, pushes people away. I think.

I really hope they get the Might/Mastery thing fixed, add more powersets and continue to add more things for us fans. DCUO has so much potential to be the best, but they still have so much work to do to achieve that status, IMO.

I agree we need more power sets. The weapon set was a good idea, but alot of the blow chunks, the only weapons I enjoyed were the rifle, two-handed and brawling and i guess the dual-blast was ok. Other than that, we need more powers,  6 just isnt enough

WIth the Green Lantern movie due out in a few weeks you would think that they would jump on the bandwagon and add a light tree. but SoE just ozzs failure. i wish SoE would go bankrupt and mabye Perfect worlds pick up a few of there titles. *joke*, i dont know why, i  told myself after they f'ed up SWG i wouldnt pay SoE anymore money, i guess it was all the trips on the short bus. lol

They've said they plan to add a light set in the vein of the green lanterns but its not going to be here for a while.

so they go to E3 with another lego-batmanesque instance with the same (lack of)  powers that everyone has already tired of within the 1st 2 months of the game. they could have at leasst made it open-world so you might actually see another player once in a while.

everyone here just said what was on my mind as well.  more power sets.  6 is a joke.  this game has great potential yet beef it up sony or this is not going to go much further. 

I play and am a DC fan as well.  What is bad is this is not the Fortress of Solitude from the comic or this DCUO Continuty.  This is the Chris Reeve/Smallville Fortress.  On top of that the combat areas look like the dull surroundings from the Kyrptonian Island from Superman Returns.  I am sure this is a marketing push.

On the 6 power limit...maybe there should be a seperate bar for Self Buffs to be punched before combat then jump back to your combat sets?

Not enough power sets, not enough powers, only OK character customization in begining, Lousy UI, poor solo support for the events, poor grouping in open world, and when you hit level 30 it is just grinding the same stuff you did before, but this time multiple times.

Its only redeaming qualities is the IP, the more action gaming style, the fun using the travel abilities around the open world, and all the voice talent including those best known for thier roles in most cases. Oh yes, and the open world stories aren't that bad the first time through.

I really wish they would fix it because although I didn't like it enough to purchase it after the CBT and OBT testing, I did find I missed the 1-30 gameplay and simply tearing around  Metropolis and Gotham with my abilities was like Spider-Man in Marvel Comics web slining around town to clear his head and relax.

This game will flop...  All SOE did was make a MMORPG, with DC characters. Is it open world & interplanitary..?

They need to make the open world matter more. End game is nothing more then repeating the same instances over and over and over.

Add some sandbox please, then maybe I will try it again.

All of your legitimate concerns are pointless because this upcoming update features Krypto the SUPERDOG!!!...the awesomeness is unparellelled in the annuals of awesome.

Now all we need is Bathound to say, 'I'm Bathound', in game. Then you can take your WoW, your GW2, your WH40K, your SWTOR, flip them over like a cheap burger on a BBQ and say, 'your done!!!!'......
