Enough with the hype trailers already. They are 2 months from launch, I want to know about powers, customization, and missions. Give me more meat and less fat.

ahh dc comics and soe.... is that not like ... no i cant think of anything. im just being torn both ways.

but i swear if soe messes this one up....

i think we need someone to make a gave of all the incompetent devs or pubishers that failed to deliver and make a good fighting game out of it. picture  nc soft vs cryptic. one awsome battle there.

Those character models look like something straight out of City of Heroes.  ChampionsOnline characters are a lot better looking.  This video makes me less interested in the game since it really looks like CoH with a few slight tweeks (DC and wall running)

HAHAH SoE thanks for SWO that was not a Flop and then a retool to be a WoWesk clone...  But DC sigh did they flash some Green paper in your faces. I'm highly excited and  REALY want to see what will happen in the next months will it be a huge Beta Start or a decent start like well developed games.

a superhero mmo would have to be a super mmo to get me to play it, this doesnt impress me, looks like champions with a official comicbook license. Champions was a bore. Hopefully marvel will do better

Meh, too much of that just looked exactly like CoX to me.. similar sounds, similar animations, even the non-iconic heroes looked CoX, heroes and villains fighting on the streets.. same ol' same ol'.

a game "looking like CoX" is not a bad thing. in fact, some of the only things CoX was missing was a more engaging combat mechanic and better graphics. this game is so far delivering both.

I think CoX has more to offer here. They have been giving expansions for several years and have a heck of alot of costume options. With the new graphics upgrade and the introduction of  Going Rogue I can't see this game offering anything more than being tied to the atmosphere of DC comics. I'd also be a little wary since SOE is involved and they have a track record of doing things for the money rather than whats best for the game. Might be a try if your a heavy fan of the DC universe but if your not I'd give this one a pass.

as much as I loved CoH. it is dead, Either make it F2P or combine servers into two or three. I didn't do Champions and I don't know why it really didin't take off good. But I am ready for a new Hero MMO fix and this one looks good so far. but we will see...

I have little interest in this game... it's all hype so far, and I'm not believing it.  I'll stick with CoH and Going Rogue.

City of Heroes turned into "hey I got this awesome mission for you, go beat up 50 of the bad guys", "oh hey i got this great mission for you go beat up 50 of the bady guys, oh i just gave you that mission, well here it is again".

Champions is nothing more then "hey you hit 40, now lets farm costumes!, oh on second thought you can just buy those costumes, now lets everyone make alts and play the same game over"

Will DCUO be the same? Hopefully not. I'm hoping the interaction with the iconic characters is engaging enough to give some real sense of purpose o the game. Also I have heard there will be some good raids at the endgame. From the youtube videos i have seen it looks like it has good potential.

Unfortunately many mmos have had potential. Hopefully DC does well. We will know soon enough.
