This does look very cool. If their character creation and customization is good, then they will crush CO.

And F2P  ... and for Ps3 and PC users ...  i want to paly this game!!!

@Ludipe: Where did you get the crazy assumption DCO is going to be F2P? It says right in the information about the game at the top of the page "subscription based" and NOT "cash shop" or "free to play".

I want to dislike this game, cause I've never been a fan of super hero MMO's I don't see how they can work. But damn it that does look pretty cool.

I think this could be a real contender when it comes out as long as they can hit that holiday market.

I like artstyle tho...it looks realistic...but yea we're talking about superheroes

I have a feeling that once more of these high quality MMOGs that use this "Freemium"/Item Store model come out, other MMOGs are probably going to have to evolve or suffer... It's really going to depend on the initial quality of games like DCUO and more importantly how well they are maintained once they go live...

never thought of myself as a player of this sort of game but this is looking really good

I have had a lot of face time with this game, and I can say that it is the most polished fun game SOE has ever produced. There is going to be a shit ton of people playing this and all the other superhero mmo's ae going to suffer greatly because of it.

Hmm, ppl excited about an SOE game. Looks good ... time will tell.

Does it have levels?

Does it have open world?

Does it have lots of instances?

Does it have virtually no consequences for dying?

Does it have have shallow pvp?

The superspeed does look cool. What worries me about this game is that there are only 2 cities in which this game takes place, at least at release. I just hope that the 2 cities will be big enough and have enough enjoyable content. The other issue is that they are using SoE. I and many others have had there accounts hacked into and to get it out of locked status I have to jump through hurdles. I am hoping they will add a token type login system. This would help allot in preventing account hacks, plus take the sour taste out of my mouth that SoE has put there.
