I hope there is more to this game than just Metropolis..even Champions Online managed to have varied locations. I havent seen anything yet from SOE that suggests DCO will feel like an actual MMO (kind of the same issue I had with CO :( )..but well, if it's closer to COH than CO at least it will be prettier option that isn't as shallow as CO
Look for the latest dev chat video to be posted on Facebook. The only two cities announced so far are Gotham and Metropolis. There will be many other locals where missions take place, dungeons and so forth...but I believe these will be the only two cities. Supposedly, these two cities alone will be larger than all the CO zones mashed together.
Looks very very nice, but beauty is only skin deep. The zones in Champions were just reskins of the exact same content and with the exception of MC none of them felt organic or convincing. DCUO needs to go that extra mile to ensure its areas are more than just superficially distinct, a new zone should react diferently, offer different challenges and unique rewards.....its essential to getting some variety into the epxerience.
wowsers
