craynlon writes: actually what i see is a mmo version of a beat em up. i love dc comics but as i was playing champions i felt they should not be mmod. in a comic you have a hero watch over a city. in an mmo you have 40k heroes nuke it out with 40k villans wich is more then a mutant zoo then a comic book. fansede writes: All well and good. However, have they thought things through in regards to PvP. Don't get caught with your pants down. How do you deal with population balance issues? If everyone on the server rolls a villain, will you still be able to enjoy the game? We know about gear being something better than CO, in other words, each piece of gear can be equipped or hidden. Downside: you won't be able to customize as much at launch. You have to earn them.. Is PvP going to be meaningful? Some is meaningful in that you may need something in a danger zone.
