So what do you think of the new 2012 Batman movie, with Bane and Catwoman as villains? I'm a huge movie fan as long as it's not modern day drama and stumbled on some article about the new Batman, The Dark Knight was absolutely great movie and I hope this will be too. I was hoping to see Harley but unfortunately that propably wont happen ever since the passing of Heath Ledger (rip) unfortunately.

yeah harley would be great. Even without joker it would be nice if she gets paired with poison ivy hahaha.

But Bane and Catwoman? Id rather have Riddler again as the villain

Uhu, Bane sounds like a bit more action oriented against for example the Riddler, might be a business plan to cater for the ever increasing impatient masses :)

Would be fun to see something like the Marvel universe Avengers coming up 2012, with different DC universe plots and places mixing up.

Im with Kuinn on this... i would like to see a more action oriented film and Bane would fit in perfectly...

why not do a Knightfall movie version?

I wouldn't be surprise if they go with the back-breaking Bane and then seeing Nightwing jump in.. With all the "looking for a successor" in Dark Knight

The "looking for a succesor" was about finding someone non super hero oriented to replace him.  A normal person like Harvey Dent.  It wasn't about finding someone who could fill the roll of batman as a vigilante.

Good choice of villians, although neither are my favorites at all.

But I can definitely see the ease in which their abilities translates into combat much more than say if Batman had to fight more exciting villians from the DC Universe.

Bane is basically a steriod hophead who uses brute strength (don't need tons of special effects to choreo a fight) and Catwoman is all flips, martial arts type moves and a whip. Both villians make the perfect choice for a quick movie with plenty of room for storyline transition.

I think all the cool villians will be in the Green Lantern movie, which is what I'm more eager to see than Batman XXXXXIVIL.

sounds great! only thing i dont care for is the chic playing cat woman..cant remember her name..plays in a lot of "funny" type girly movies..so it would be hard for me to grasp her as a good fit..+ her head is extreamly huge for her body and her face looks like a cartoonish fish from spongebob...but thats just my op lol id leave cat woman outta his one i dont like a movie filled with more than 1 villians unless its a short tease for a next film..any1 remember the batman with robin / bat girl / bane / riddler / 2face / mr freeze and poison ivy...horrible
