So I'm trying to get into the game after I forgot about it for a while, but it seems to be taking forever just to load up the gamelauncher. Is the game down or something?

So yeah, I tried again, and I think either something is wrong with Steam, or SOE's gamelauncher is busted.

I had the same problem. Run the launchpad from file location as admin.
