The billing was never a problem early on for 'their old game', that only began when the company started to melt down.

nah eve shouldnt worry its not the same i like eve because of the twitch gameplay :) but damn this looks good :)

Free to play always means an ingame shop where you have to pay for the best gear to be competitive in PVP

It won't kill Eve, as CCP is already well on their way to killing Eve themselves. As far as lag goes I guess if it can load the system it will be ahead of Eve. I doubt it will be as indeapth as Eve is now after years of development but as long as what is there actually works as opposed to broke ass Eve then once again it will be better off than Eve. Time will tell...be nice to have an MMO version of the "X2/3" games.

some of the things about this game remind me of Earth and Beyond (EA) overall i wouldnt say its a game that an Eve player would be all that interested in though..  trailer looks ok, but.. the game would need to be far more substantial.

This is NOT a "persistant universe" game unlike how the video tries to portray it (and blatantly say) to be.

The FACTS, are that this game is almost entirely instanced like Huxley Online & Global Agenda.

That's why it's gone F2P. Don't believe me? Watch all the developer interviews and videos and listen for these key phrases:

"Mission Terminal", "Match Making", "Battleground", "Instanced Missions" etc etc....

Any time you hear "matchmaking" or "instanced missions" ....you know it's another huxley or global agenda, because they both said the EXACT same crap and low and behold...beta rolled around and it's what we got.

persistence is overrated. who cares? not a single MMO has it. some people would give their arm for a fun, balanced, twitch space shooter. of course, they wouldnt be able to play then but still.

Noone from Eve needs to worry about this, it's a different gameplay experience on offer, catering to a different playertype.

This is twitchbased gameplay, Eve is a spreadsheet with pixels :D

You scrolled down to see if anyone else had noticed, I did. By the way, The Game. This looks like a pretty nice MMO, I'll keep my eye on it.

agree i think this be out be for  jumpgate    and this one reminde me of my old earth and beyond    i loved my ship in that game had tun of friends on that     if  guild wars 2 comes first  they get my wallet   if both dont then my wallet wins   lol
