Hi!

First of all, for those who don't know the game I think is worthwhile a try. Not so good graphics but great combat system, once you get acustomed to it =).

I had a lvl 92 character on Mycenae server, the equivalent to veteran. Not expert (lvl 120) but I can say I have tried most interesting aspects of the game: ind dungeons, guild and nation dungeons as guest, city system...

Once said that, I have to explain why i quit this one ^^. Not bored or burnt at all.

My nation have been at war for a week with another nation and today it was the final battle. A couple of hours to kill their generals while having ours alive. Well, strangely all pcs of my nation members crashed at the same time. And im not talking about 10 pc's or so... is more likely 200 or even more. I know. If someone didn't crash they did not show up, asked it in the nation channel a dozen times.  Also I'm pretty sure about everyone in my guild (10-15 crashed, as i were one of the first to relog in after rebooting). Even the people who werent at battle but inside the nation, afk or just crafting outside the battlefield, had their computers crashed. Strangely, with the same client running at the same time in other window, all alts that members had outside the nation were kept connected without problem.

Well, we lost a secondary city with no strategic importance at all. Besides we were ready to loose it. I only reconect to realize we had lost the war. Everyone of us kept connected for a while our computers crashed, and the enemy nation did have no resistence at all.

Is all the same to me, is just a game, i play it to have fun, im not a hardcore player. But this is a flagrant hoax. When we complained, explaining what happened, they called us liers. I even receive a whisper telling me to buy a better computer. (I asked him for the phone number of the NASA, it seems the next natural step, as I can run two clients at the same time with no problems at all, and in full settings xD). My computer crashed with only one client in medium/low settings!! (I expected lots of people running here and there and wanted it to run as smooth as it could be). Not disconected as usual, that takes you to front screen. Crashed, first time since i play. Now a couple of guilds from the other nation are saying some of their members got disconnected for a bug. Some... we ALL got disconnected. No 50%, not even 75%. Let's say at least 95% of us. Just in case someone didn't show up. 100% of my guild.

NCSoft have say no word about this incident.  I'm not gonna tell them how to do their work, either.

So after thinking it for a while, this happened about 15 hours ago, I have decided to quit. Not for the city, or for loose a war, I'm just a member in a guild that isn't the main of the nation. This is because I like fair play. This incident was not serious at all.

Just a word of advice for all of you that are already playing it of thinking on it.

NCSoft? Thought the publisher and developer were NDoors.

Anyway, if for some divine intervention or unluck everyone from your guild gets disconnected in the middle of a siege while no one on the opposing one (if it happened with them too they wouldn't say you are just QQing, or then they are just a bunch of 10 yrs that feel good about winning on a handicapped situation), then I too would feel something suspitious in the air.

You are right, NDoors ^^. (sorry for posting NCSoft, didn't know what i were thinking about).

What  is more suspicious is that if you get disconected they take you to the logging screen. It happens from time to time. But the computers just crashed. I got a black screen and had to close the program, most unusual than a simple disconection. Same to everyone in the nation.

Enough reasons for me to quit this one. The developers should take more care on who is controlling Mycenae server, at least.

Looking for a new game =D.

doesn't sound like a good enough reason to quit
