vinilla writes: Still the best sandbox mmorpg. Lot's of fun everything to explore, great tactical fights, just perfect game ... anyway there is bad side - the custumer suxx still... but i'm hoping this will end soon ! Everyone who is searching for different sandbox-like mmo should try that! Wed Jan 15 2014 4:04PM
valoiz writes: Probablly the worst game i ever put money into. The game its like a beta yet and Ankama change over and over again the gameplay. The clases are not clrear and you can only use like 4 skills over and over again to grind the same mobs over and over again (Samaras / Polters / Lubos). Repettitive music, worst support, no events, no end game conten affter 6 months online and 4 years in beta. Wed Aug 08 2012 12:35PM
dreamscaper writes: Graphics: The art style is adorable, and the world is vivid and full of character. Spell effects and the user interface are both fantastic. However, the main drawback is that the world is static - water isn't animated, and world animations in general are very sparse. Sound: The sounds of the game share the same whimsy style as the graphics. While battle and interaction sounds are very well done, the music is sparse and unvaried, and like the graphics the world has a very static feel to it. It is somewhat inconsistent - a nearby mill will loudly creak and groan, but yet I can barely hear the sound of waves when traveling about the island nation of Sufokia. Roleplaying: This game has a fanastic base for roleplaying. Chat bubbles are present, usuable seating is abundant, there are a plethora of earned emotes and actions to make use of, and the world is littered with nooks and crannies that seem like they were designed with roleplay in mind, such as campsites, restaurants with generous seating (and bars that high level chefs can hop behind and play barrista), stages, and more. Value: A really solid game that's only $6 per month. That's a fantastic value in my opinion. Fun: I've been playing for a fe weeks now and I've been thoroughly enjoying it. The game has a lot of charm and it's a big change from your standard MMORPG. Especially the battle system, which is a turn-based tactical system that continues to grow in complexity as you level. Community: Both good and bad. Almost everyone I've met so far has been extremely helpful, but the community as is is still rather small. It can be very difficult to find groups to party with unless you join a large guild, and even then they're often segregated due to the nation restrictions. Performance/Lag: While performance isn't bad per se, the game could use some optimization. I play on a computer that plays FFXIV and Skyrim both on Med-High settings with little stutter, but I see roughly the same amount in Wakfu, which isn't nearly as graphically intense. Customer Service: While my single petition wasn't resolved to my liking, the feedback was exceptionally friendly and well written, enough so that it damped the disappointment of not being able to get my item back substantially. Overall: Overall, I would rate this game as "Very Good," with the possibility of being Great or even Exceptional if some of the issues above are addressed. Mon Jul 02 2012 7:16AM
