Phoenix_Hawk writes: Currently riddled with bugs, laggy and missing a lot of base content. So expect the open beta period to drag on for at least some 6-12 months. Ankama's obsession with grind and the idea that long and slow tasks make them harder is alive and well. Then while they may be trying for a more dynamic game I have my doubts as to how many of their base ideas will make it to the release version. As aside from no NPCs (sort of) none of the big ones are in the beta or were already dropped.

Only truly good thing to say is that so far at least they are putting limits to how big your various bonuses can be and there's no scrolling (scrolls could be used in Dofus to permanently raise your stats and give spell points).
