I thought it was still in beta. Is it live? Is there open pvp? Never trust a screenshot or a youtube video without a version stamp! |

I am not a native english speaker. There may be errors in my post. I learned english on my own. Class system and classes' skill progression are somewhat linear and you can not create a unique character with your choices during your character's progression. As character creation I would not say it is kinda a sandbox. It is more like Ragnarok which is a themepark game but it has sandbox features here and there. Crafting starts simple and gets very complex during later levels because necessary ingridients start to differ (both drop and collectable) and it forces you to trade with other players. Either you should join a guild to receive ingridients or you should be an enthusiastic trader. Player houses hold player shops (shops are linked to an auction house inside certain areas) and players can open their shops to almost every location on map. There is a political system where a governor holds position for a certain amount of time and forms a government with other players. Governors are elected by citizens. A citizen is a player who has 100 citizenship points which can be grinded very easily. Every nation's governor can change laws, declare war/alliance/truce on other nations (which enables kill on sight massive pvp), elect government members, set tax rates, decide environmental penalties, conquer maps. The game has an ecological system. On non trade center maps you can breed and overpopulate creatures or overpopulate flora. You can do otherwise. If you challenge ecological system you start to get negative citizenship points and become an outlaw as a result. Other players can hunt you down and send you to prison. Ecological rules can be set by governor which created a huge problem recently. A nation's governor made it impossible to level combat and crafting for low lvl players without penalties. Developers are looking into the problem. Luckily the game is in beta. The game is in closed beta in north america and in open beta in europe. There will be a wipe after open beta with it's release in europe. These are just off the top of my head. There are many aspects of the game I didn't mention about. Yes graphics are cartoony but an mmorpg is much more than it's graphics. Judging an mmorpg by it's graphics is what WoW brought us today with the generation it created. An mmorpg is about progression and how obstacles are spread though the way to your goals. |

Just started playing yesterday. It seems neat. A bit rough around the edges and the meta game hasn't been implemented as of yet but other than that is has a lot of potential as far as sandboxes go. |
