You won't find very many English on there anyways, every spoken word is French.

True, sadly, that killed the game for any other players except NA alot of non American went to that server, but still cant find a decent enough players that speak English it's just.. Dominated by French, even if there are probably more than 1000 players in the game that speak English, the chance that you will meet them is 1:50 i wonder, there are lots of UK players playing it, but they are just not there in the game

i got a beta key 2 days ago...keep looking around there is a few websites still doing the Beta key giveaways

Since the game is being developed by a French company that also created Dofus (which apparently is quite successful in France and other parts of the world).

Im going to give it a go, reason being is that i think games lack character at the moment, i love games like this with these sort of graphics (even if i can run all mmorpgs out at moment on high settings)

So far enjoying the beta, just playing a couple hours here and there during the week, not much.  There is a NA server for those interested in playing form NA.  I just logged in with my Dofus account.  So far there is only one thing I don't really like...lack of grouping and people around.  The server is sparse right now compared to Dofus.  Most likely because it is a NA only server for beta I'm on.  Most of my friends have never heard of Dofus.  I found it because I love turn-based games.

So far only one thing I don't really like, which is sort of a catch-22.  Combat is locked by default, in Dofus it was unlocked.  I wished there was a setting to change the default one way or the other.  In Dofus anyone could instantly join your battle unless you locked it.  In Wakfu no one can join you unless you unlock first.  I know the obvious answer would be form a party, but those used to this style from Dofus will find it a change.

For those they don't have a key or can't login with an old Dofus account, then I would suggest creating a new Dofus account.  It is free to play up to level 20.  That will give you a good idea of what Wakfu will be like (combat and crafting at least.)

Fileplanet may still have NA Beta keys or they did 2 days ago.

gonna try this if its in OB, does having a Dofus account give you any advantages?

keep in mind that there will be a character wipe when open beta ends. there is still a lot of time ahead of us because the game is still far away from being complete. just wanted to say this because most of the people jumps into the game and they get disapointed when they find out about the wipe. have fun.
