The European version of Dragonica Online will be getting pet companions as part of the Tales of the Damned update launching this October.

When the update goes live players level 20 and above will be able to visit a pet merchant who will send them on a series of quests to earn their companion. Upon completing the quests, players will receive an egg containing one of three pets: Felix the cat, Husky the dog, and Griffon the bird.

The pets initially introduced to the game will be mostly vanity in nature, though they will contain some statistical bonuses which they will confer to their owners. In the future, the developers intend to add more pets and more pet functionality including passive skills, the ability to fight with you against monsters, and even serve as mounts.
