Athaelk writes: Been play this game since 2002. While the graphics are not up to par with some of the top of the line games they are not bad for a MMO. The sounds are awesome especially in large battles when machineguns are ripping, tanks rounds exploding, and bombs shaking the ground. There is still a fairly good sized and loyal pb. The PB is much more mature and less inclined to grief. The weapon systems have been as historically accurate depicted in game as would be possible. The flight sim portion is a bitch. No easy mode. those who have flown flight sims will appreciate the accurate flight controls and the real life tactics required to get a successful air to air kill. Both on the ground and in the air this game has a large learning curve. If only because you need to learn the strengths and weakness of the equipment and how to engage (or not engage) the enemy. WIth that said this is a game where even noobs get kills. Experience counts only for how well you play the game. No uber geared toons, no gold selling spammers just a lot of fun. One word of advice. This is PVP get with a "squad" and get Teamspeak. It will shorten the learning curve and make it much more fun. Sat Jun 11 2011 8:36PM

This game has the most excellent gameplay and makes up for "not-so-good" graphics. The community is great as well, organized combat can only do one thing, quench my thirst for planetside. The good thing about this one is the free trial is now actually free instead of being 1 dollar. Have fun, it's worth the download. Oh and bring a joystick, the built in flight sim is epic.
