Found this recently and thought maybe some like to use a Trial without the need of a credit card..hope they will offer that also after the new content patch.

You will never figure out how to play this game in 2 week.s .  It is the closet thing to a true wargame that is on the net.  You will die thousands of times before you learn that you have to move carefully as it is modeled as real combat... bang you are dead...

Agreed. Unless you can get into a squad quickly, you won't really get a good grasp on this. But it still might be enough fun (read: challenging) for people to subscribe anyway.

My brother was one of those hoping for the real navalized portion of the game. At this point, I don't think it will ever come, since they still haven't figured out indirect fire.
