The latest version of Battleground Europe is now ready for pre-release testing.

Does 1.30 have the texture upgrades and some of the new graphical stuff? I'd like to hear from some people who have tested it out.

AFAIK  This patch is mainly about coding upgrades.  I think the Char has a new look but apart from that there's not much.

Hmmm,  maybe changes to the  spit II and bf109 are the only other things that are happening  (well, maybe. I need to go and check).

Apparently this patch is the one that allows them much more freedom in the future. I presume they need to try and replace some of the nearly decade old coding that a lot of the game has :)

( I've done a small bit of programming and, damn, I'm glad I don't have to upgrade this  :D . Can you say spaghetti ?!?)

I was wondering the same thing, i know there is a graphical update somwhere around here.

As usual, the patch added some stuff that allows them to add or change other stuff. So maybe in few years we'll finally see Terrain II and stuff.

PS: I like.. stuff
