I can't get my CH-Products joystick to work with this game. Not for flying, and not for driving vehicles. I can't get any help from the help channel. No ONE ever responds when I call for help. I can't even log into the forum and ask there, since NEW registrations have been disabled. In short, I can't play the damn game!!!
FIX IT!!! FIX IT!!! FIX IT!!!
Thank you for reading my rant. |

screaming to fix it fix it fix it wont get anything done for you, does your mother still wipe your ass and kiss your 'booboos'? considering CH sticks are one of the most common used sticks for playing the game, your doing something wrong, not the game. maybe not spamming the help channel would help? remember, most of the players have atleast some level of maturity and dont like dealing with whiny 10 year olds, because they dont take responsability for anything. I dont know why you cant log into the forums, Im contacting CRS right now to see whats going on, i just checked the records and the last person to register was in april, so somethings up. If you ever whine again dont expect any help but many fingers pointing to the exit sign. |

Post your problem in the Forums Windows Help thread. Are you using a USB kb? THere can be conflicts in ww2ol using a USB JS and KB with one or more of the HID drivers. Check the sticky for SGTSpoon in that forum or google his site..SGTSpoon.. Also you must map the throttle in keymapper. Select GAS/Throttle under fighter bobmers..tanks etc and move the throtle.Ususaly shows as Slider 1. Betting you prob is the USB one. You can try to disable one HID at a time to find the one that is causing the problem, cheange to a PS2 KB using a usb/ps2 adapter, boot with the ps2 and launch ww2ol then install the USB KB. Hope this helps. |

Originally posted by Timmy41 Well, darn, too bad I'm not 10, I just act like it. ;) I didn't do ANYTHING wrong. The damn game's controller section has NO calibration routines, so even if you tell it to use the joystick's x, y, z, or ZR axis, for something, it doesn't seem to care that it thinks left is right and vice-versa. And I DID NOT SPAM the help channel. I simply started asking for help, and NO ONE responded. And frankly, it's my God, given right to whine, if I effing feel like it. And so far, this game has done nothing to show me that it's remotely playable. So I'm fully entitled to whine if I want to. :P |

It picked that stuff up, but it still doesn't work right. Obviously, there's something I'm missing, but I can't log into the forums to get help!!! Oh well, I guess the game really doesn't want me to play it. |

They dont allow trialers access to the Forums because they figure if you hate the game you'll love the forums and therefore subscribe. They must be betting on the fact that youll be frustrated, look for help, find out you need to subcribe to get any help and come crawling to them with your $$. They're just playing hard to get. Or maybe they really dont want you... sorry. |

I'm surprised you cant access the Help Forums..OT is another matter.
So, your CH stick was seen in the Keymapper. When you say it doesn't quite work right, exactly what do you mean? Are you using a USB keyboard. If so, get the green adapter that came with it and use your PS/2 input for the KB just to see if that may be your problem. Do you use a stick file with the JS or are you using the keymapper defaults.
As for the reasons given that you seem to not be able to post to the help forum, they are just nonsense.
I have a post in the help forums to find out the policy on freebie players. |

Originally posted by hardcase The keyboard is PS/2, the joystick et al, are USB. I TRIED to use the keymapper defaults, after making sure it saw my stick and rudder. I also just tried to post a thread to the help forum, got the following: I clicked and enterer my email address, (the one I used to sign up for the game.) And got this message.: "You have not entered an email address that we recognise. Please try again or contact the administrator." So my guess is, newbies aren't allowed in the help forums either. |

I didn't design a fraked up game that won't work with my controllers. I tried everything possible to get it to work. I TRIED to get help online, NO ONE responded. It's not MY actions that should be questioned. But if you don't like my message, don't read it.
