Its amazing, after getting this about a month ago now this game is still insanely fun and awesome.. somthing new every single time i play it.. its simply the best game ive ever played. Its the only game i could ever log on and play every single day for a month and never get bored once.. I played planetside before and it got boring fast.. this is just an amazing game.. And it seems its picking up attention from alot of people now.. i'm seeing more and more people posting on these forums and on the official forums. so its great.. Ever since i've played ive NEVER once had trouble finding a battle.. the game population seems just fine to me as is.. but the more the better.. "bigger wars" good stuff. I encourage anyone slightly interested to go out and get this game immedietly its worth every penny.

Hmm... ur making the influence o so much better, ive been lookin at this game since beta. my friend had beta, but was full of bugs, poor performance, and hardly any fighting. But i continue to find my self looking at the web site atleast once a week. imo the coolest thing about it is u can see where the front lines are. thats just sick. Ya ive played/playing planetside. its a great game, but there needs to b more things you can accomplish. I was checkin out ww2 online and now that its 10$ to buy and just $13 a month i might just havta check it out. im also a big ww2 buff so maybe it will fit my needs completely. thanks for the review maybe ill see u on sometime soon. one last question Axis or Allies?

Does anyone know if this is better than the Battlefield series?

First of all, keep in mind that right now, squads have a lot of influence over the game. To give you an example, when I lead the Black Knight Brigade (BKB) on a mission we create a battle.

What i mena is you could pop into a town and not much will be happening. You could the run to the next town and cap a flag if the AI doesn't kill you, then a tank or two and a couple of infantry will spawn in and huint you down. End of battle.

However when I bring 30 to 40 screaming BKB maniacs into a town and start capping stuff, the Axis listen and respond with huge numbers. Big battle lasting hours ensues.

See the difference? Join a squad, we teach you what you need to know, you live longer and have more fun.

Yeah, right now WWIIOL is not bad for things to do, in fact because of the way the game is set up it is basically fighting for a town but there are alot of things coming that will make the game so much more fun. For instance, the High Command characters have a new character to spawn which is full dress uniform. These are going to make great sniper objectives.

There are going to be targets to blow up that will affect supply down the road. You know, commando type raids on supply depots and stuff like that.

Allied of course.

Whichever side you choose I hope you enjoy the game as much as I do.

There's been so much talking about wwiionline theatres, about camping, about fps issues, about griefers, clippers, cheaters  and hackers, vulchers , spys monitoring chat coms, side switchers, and number imbalances. That it's clear that the game has a long road ahead and much work needs to be done to make it a satisfying product. Theres a builder community that invested theyre own personnal money into CRS, giving them thousands of dollars for 5 year subscriptions, ingame statues, free events ( yes , events are not free ) and free name change (yes , changing your name costs 13.37).

I cannot deny the fact that wwiiol is far from perfect at this point, but in my opinion the limited /controlled effect of these flaws pointed out by beatbox do not make them game breakers (although a few of them do need to be addressed urgently).

And to change your game name u have to be 1337 ($13.37).

Wow beatbox, you accually didn't start flaming and posted a very mature well written responce to a thread about WWII Online. Thank you for that, as for WW2 OL being compaired with The BF series you can't really because bf1942 is just an arcade shooter bunny hop your way around on a 64 player server and shoot each other, no tactics.. strategy or anything else.. First off BF1942 is unrealistic in everything it does.. infantry fighting its straight forward point shoot.. no calculating distance for bullet drop or anything.. and planes are laughable at most in bf series.. I'm not bagging on it i'm just saying if you want a war simulation the battlefield series is not for you.. I admit the BF series are fun in their own but WW2ol is just amazing at making you feel like your part of a war.. I would pick ww2ol over BF1942 BF:V or BF2 ANY day.. As for what side to play, pick what you think is funnest for you.. I first tried allies and discovered it wasn't for me so i switched to axis and love it.. I fly alot and the bf109's are a huge challenge to fly and i love it.. ww2ol does have some bugs you'll ocassionaly run into but nothing game stopping never ruins the fun what so ever.. i love the game so much i'm just going to sign up for a year sub so i don't have to worry about it on a monthly basis.. great game.. A+++++++++++
