To Use Vivox Voice, Dev Chat Next Week
Vivox has partnered with Hi-Rez Studios to make use of Vivox voice chat in the upcoming "spy-fi" MMOG, Global Agenda, which is set to release in early 2010. To discuss the announcement players are being invited to a unique dev chat making use of the Vivox voice Facebook application on Facebook tomorrow at 10PM EST.

Payment Methods Announced!
We've got some big news coming out of Hi-Rez Studios today regarding the payment methods for their upcoming sci-fi MMOFPS, Global Agenda. Hi-Rez Studios has announced today that Global Agenda will be available for $49.99 as either a retail box package or a digital download, but more importantly, that there will be no monthly subscription fee required for Global Agenda.

Three New Maps Shown at PAX
Three new Global Agenda maps were playable at PAX this year, and were warmly received by fans at the show according to the game's developers. The first new map players got to try out is an escort map set in Siberia called Ice Flow. The second map, Seaside, is a three point ticket map set on a drilling platform in the Northern Atlantic ocean. And the last map, Climate Control is an "attack/defend" map set within the mountains of East Asia.

The date for the second phase of Closed Beta has been announced. Closed Beta Phase 2 or "CBT-1B" will begin on Friday, August 21st, 2009, and run through to Sunday, August 23rd, 2009.

Closed Beta Phase One Begins July 24th
Earlier in the month we reported that Hi-Rez Studios had nailed down July as a timeframe for when we could expect the game to enter Closed Beta. The developers are now ready to set a more solid date. The first phase of beta will begin on July 24th, 2009. The beta process will follow in a similar vein to that of the Aion beta, with each phase spanning a single weekend.
