Hi. This will be a long first entry.

Im new to mmorpg.com and registered just to tell you how worse it got with Global Agenda and what you get if you dare to criticize Hi-Rez in their official forums. Im already sorry that my english is not that good. Its not my first language. But lets get to the point.

First of all, i was a Global Agenda Player for about a year now and played several hours a day since that Steam Deal in 2011. I liked that teamoriented PvP a lot, specially in AvA because i was in an alliance that played that game mode every day if possible. Mercenary was cool too.

But its no secret that the game always had its issues. Everyone who got stuck in the loading screen, dropped through the map, got  hit by an 360° Personal Turret, got no items from an auction house purchase or had missing items in the AvA cargo knows what im talking about. And that is just the tip of the iceberg. If you want to know what else has not been fixed since Beta, make a free account and ask around in City Chat. Dont do it on the official forums. But i'll later get to that point.

One of the main problem the game has nowadays is the increasing numbers of aimbotters. HiRez said to a clan fellow of mine at Gamescon that "it is not possible to use a aimbot in GA" which makes me laugh out of bitterness because agencys with wellknown aimbotters make the first and second place on AvA maps on a weekly basis. Even some top tier players admitted already that they botted but the problem has not been solved since it is known.

But even after the uproar was loud in the official forums after the first cases of aimbotting got public, HiRez concentrated on other things then that.

After the Free 2 Play Release of GA a fresh stream of interested players joined the GA community and HiRez  used the increasing amount of players to make some quick money by introducing Agenda Points, a new ingame currency which could only be purchased if you pay real money for it. Until then, there was a flair shop called "Rare Goods" where dyes and hats could be purchased for tokens, another currency that you got in small amounts for completing mercenarry (PvP) or PvE missions. This shop on the other hand was replaced by "Burning Fashion", another ingame shop where the same dyes and colours now could be bought for Agenda Points only.

At this moments bugs and botters still existed. And the community got angry. Including me.

So i went to the official forums and asked them to explain what they're gonna do about the aimbots and bugs and every time my threads got deleted. Some even after a few minutes. And I was not alone with that. Some agency fellows and some people i dont know personally made the same experiences. Everytime a thread just mentioned aimbotting (like when somebody answered) it got deleted by an admin almost instantly.

And then, without any notification or an email explaining the reasons i got banned. And again, i am not the only one making this experience. There are several cases of people who are getting banned because of criticising HiRez in public.

Lets get this straight: We're good enough to buy Agenda Points, Elite Status or Boosters. But if we actually want a working game for the money we put into it we get a muzzle. Until now aimbotters and buguser are raping the corpse GA is now thanks to HiRez. And their admins are toying with the soonly implemented PvE Monsters in VR ...

This post is a warning to all that think about buying Global Agenda and soon to be released HiRez Games. Their actions show how they really think about their community that they should take care of.

Dont be a cash cow for them !

You forgot the part about breaking the forum rules and the ToS when you posted threads with links to videos that advertise cheating. But please continue while I go find my bucket.

The amount of aimbotters also made me quit this game. had alot of fun in it for along time but the cheating just got out of hand.

infact funny story about it, friend of mine decided he was going to aim bot because he said he was tired of the cheaters getting away with it all the time and he was ready to quit the game anyways so he didnt even care if he got banned for it.

he aim botted for about 2 weeks going 100+ kills every round steamrolling teams. then he tells me to report him and see what happens because he knew he had been reported hundreds of times before.

so every match i would report him, then i get a email from Hirez telling me if i report anybody again i would be banned from the game because i reported to many times.

this was months ago, and his acount is still not banned and every once in awhile he logs in and aimbots the crap out of matchs just for fun.

This sums it up.  The game is dead, I logged in to see yesterday and there were 3 pvp matches going at 10 pm.  When you have less than 50 people pvping prime time friday the game is dead.  The aimbotting has been a problem for most of the games life.  I remember when it first released HI Rez made a statement about how they chose the wrong game to hack and how they wouldn't allow it but after 6 months it was more than an issue it was a plague.  When the game went f2p I tried to report the aimbotters as I saw them but nothing ever happened.  Now? the botters killed the game and got bored themselves apparently as the game is completely dead which is sad since I really did enjoy the pvp.

Why did hi rez turn their backs on their community? simple they got the tribes license which is what they wanted all along and threw GA into the trash pile.  Sadly I was in alpha and beta for that game and it won't ever be anything worth playing so thats pretty much that for Hi Rez  I loved the company til I realized they weren't in it for the long haul on GA.

Don't get me wrong Global Agenda was a fun game, but consider this, a while ago there was talk of a "jungle" (before the bans started to happen) area within the game (which none existed) and people in global chat were always asking "guise how to get to jungle?" shortly afterward followed an endless sea of trolls telling people eloquently on how to get to the jungle. This was mainly done to pass the time in between each queue, as the game suffered due to lack of content endgame and the crafting was underwhelming at best. GM's even participated in this mindless talk of a jungle, sometime during the jungle fiasco the devs instead of fixing the game, decided HEY LETS MAKE JUNGLE TROLL FLAIR, yes you read that right, the famous trollface manifested itself into the flairshop with a spiced up jungle theme. So instead of fixing game bugs the devs decide to make available flair about a mame that somebody started in the game. Pathetic to say the least. Now here comes the kicker, weeks later they drop the flair and start banning anyone for even mentioning the word jungle in global chat. They banned people for a mame they helped to foster. Incompetent to say the least. Instead of working on getting bugs fixed they would rather code new flair then turn around and ban people. There you have it.

Loved this game and wish it was still something I wanted to play.  Gave up on it with the rampant aimbotting that takes place.
