The free respec that Cryptic has promised for characters created during the Early Start program is now live as part of a fairly extensive patch pushed to servers this morning.

A bit of a change, however, on exactly who will qualify for the free respec. All characters created before September 10th, 8:30 GMT qualify for the free respec. So, basically, if you didn't create another character today ,your entire roster should qualify! This change is sure to be a crowd pleaser. Do not there are some quirks to the free respec right now and a workaround has been provided, information below:

A full Retcon is available for any character created before 2009-09-10 08:30 UTC. The UI for this is currently bugged, but to use it, you can type "/Character_UseFreeRespec" while at the Retcon window. Note that this will not confirm your decision, it will instantly wipe all of your powers.

In addition to the free respec, the patch brings significant balance changes to the game, many with important PvP implications. Such as the changes to Condemn, the re-adjustment of Pyre off of the melee damage scale, knockback resistance added to Shotgun Blast, etc.
