Champions Online Producer Rob Overmeyer has written the latest State of the Game letter. Overmeyer spends a bit of time reviewing the past months as the team prepared for the Free for All release. He also discusses C-Store updates and takes a forward look at upcoming content updates and more.

The team has been talking about what we need to do to the endgame to make it fun and meaningful. We understand the need for an update to our endgame, and we are working on it. At this point we are in the design phase and working out the details. I wish there was more that I could tell you, but it is just too early.

We are also working out a plan to bring you content updates more often. We are currently investigating creating a “Comic Series” Similar to the STO featured episodes. The series would consist of a number of “issues” spread out over numerous weeks. They would be about the length of an Adventure Pack by the time the series wraps up, and they would give us an opportunity to tell some interesting stories in Champs. Of course this is all really early in development, and we will keep you posted as we get more to share.
