I remember when I played that you could retcon out of all your skills and rebuild from scratch.  The interesting thing was when you did that you were not limited to just the tier 0 powers for your third power.

I recall retconning and taking my energy builder, a second basic power from another archtype (I choose an open build, had a monthy subscription) and then at lvl 8 I took regeneration....a teir 1 power.

Can  you still do that or do you have to take your energy builder and basic power from the same framework to be able to access a tier 1 power from outside your framework?

Maybe I was able to do that before cause I was using the open framework.....I don't know but I hope you can still do that if you are a gold member.

Turn it up, turn it up, turn it up, up, adieu...

I think not, when I do a retcon I always skip that first non-energy building power (psi blast, rebuke, eldritch blast...) and learn some actually useful low tier powers like ego sprites, seraphim, conviction...).

Good.  That first power is kinda crappy for some sets.  Glad I can skip that again and go right into the good stuff!

The more you know, the more you know you don't know.

From what I have been told, you are locked into certain bulild types if you are "free-to-play". If a subscriber, you are free to do what you like. I let my sub run a while back. I like the game but I will not play the  "f2p" side as it would restrict my builds.

Let's party like it is 1863!

I like the game a lot too and if I could play I would sub.  WHen I get out of here I will resub and play with my wife.

Unfortunately, this site is the only reall site I can get any info on the game from.  We are restricted from visiting other sites....I don't know why this one is viewable though.

Anyway, I can plan out me and my wife's build.  I know her playstyle and what she likes/dislikes now......plus I squeeze in things that benefit me!
